Wisconsin law sets weight and length limits for implements of husbandry and agricultural commercial vehicles, with specific exemptions. The law also allows local government officials to pass resolutions or ordinances regarding the maximum gross vehicle and axle weight limits for these vehicles, which are exclusively for agricultural use, to operate upon roads under their jurisdictions. This map displays local government resolutions and ordinances adopted prior to Jan. 15, 2017.

Operators are required to observe all road and bridge posted weight limits. Please contact local authorities for further information about permitting and local weight restrictions.
